Fund Administrator - Guernsey

With continued growth across the NSM Group, we’re always on the lookout for bright individuals to join the team and we are looking for a Fund Administrator to join our Funds Company NSM Funds Limited, where we provide bespoke fund administration services to an array of sectors and fund structures, across multiple jurisdictions.

This is an opportunity for a driven and talented individual with some relevant work experience to make a difference as part of a dedicated and growing team.

The purpose of this position is to carry out routine day to day administration of Fund Structures under the direction of your line manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer funds, management companies and associated fund structures within the team and liaise with clients and intermediaries on a daily basis.
  • Assist with all aspects of company secretarial matters, including the preparation of agendas, collation and distribution of Board packs, obtaining directors availability and drafting of minutes for routine board meetings.
  • Prepare manual and electronic payment instructions to settle entity expenses and complete investment transactions throughout structures including the bookkeeping and assistance with opening new bank accounts.
  • Maintain accurate records for all entities administered including investor details and processing all changes thereon.
  • Assist with the onboarding of new clients and entities, ensuring all processes are followed.
  • Assist with the submission of regulatory and statutory filings and the update of internal databases.
  • Assist with calculation of NAVs
  • Liaise with clients and intermediaries as necessary.

Skills, knowledge, expertise

  • Computer literacy skills are essential.
  • Good interpersonal skills are required to develop close working relationships with colleagues, clients and business contacts.
  • 2+ years of financial services experience, Holding or working towards the CGI Certificate or similar, or willing to study for a relevant professional qualification, ambition and enthusiasm.
  • You are required to have the requisite Guernsey residential certificate/permit to apply for this role.
