Senior Fund Administrator - Guernsey

With continued growth across the NSM Group, we’re always on the lookout for bright individuals to join the team and we are looking for a Senior Fund Administrator to join our Funds Company NSM Funds Limited, where we provide bespoke fund administration services to an array of sectors and fund structures, across multiple jurisdictions.

This is an opportunity for a driven and talented individual with some relevant work experience to make a difference as part of a dedicated and growing team.

The purpose of this position is to carry out routine day to day administration of Fund Structures under the direction of your line manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer a complex range of funds, management companies and associated fund structures within the team and liaise with clients and intermediaries on a daily basis.
  • Co-ordinate all aspects of company secretarial matters, including the preparation of agendas, collation and distribution of Board packs, obtaining directors availability, attendance at and drafting of minutes for board and shareholder meetings.
  • Prepare manual and electronic payment instructions to settle entity expenses and complete investment transactions throughout structures including the bookkeeping.
  • Maintain accurate records for all entities administered including investor details and processing all changes thereon.
  • Onboarding of new clients and entities, ensuring all processes are followed.
  • Ensure staff are trained on electronic banking systems and co-ordinate the opening of bank accounts.
  • Ensure regulatory and statutory filings are made in a timely manner and internal databases are kept up to date.
  • Complete NAV calculations.
  • Act as a mentor to more junior members of staff.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and external parties, proactively managing client expectations and turnaround times.

Skills, knowledge, expertise

  • Computer literacy skills are essential.
  • Very good interpersonal skills are required to develop close working relationships with colleagues, clients and business contacts.
  • A good understanding of local regulatory framework and sound technical financial services knowledge.
  • 3+ years of financial services experience, holding or working towards the CGI Certificate or similar, or willing to study for a relevant professional qualification, ambition and enthusiasm.
  • You are required to have the requisite Guernsey residential certificate/permit to apply for this role.
